Today was a day for travelling. We left Maidstone and travelled down to Cornwall,past London and through Kent,Sussex,Gloucestershire, Devon and Somerset. It took 6 hours but the sun came out and it was a glorious day. We arrived at security , picked up Went down to theour keys amd moved into our new home in a 15th century farm house. We have a comfortable bedroom. a great kitchen, livingroom, diningroom table and a sun porch..Plus, no one else is here.. Went down to the local pub for dinner and caught my first glance at the domes which shone in the evening sunset. They are spectacular ,galactic awe inspiring.. I can't wait to wonder around tomorrrow..

- For the last thirty years, Linda Rutenberg’s one enduring passion has been to create extraordinary photographic images. Her distinctive style is defined by her use of unusual films and exotic locations. She has created images for fifteen books and numerous exhibitions and her work is found in museums, galleries, corporate and personal collections around the world. Her career has also included being the artistic director and co-owner of Montreal photography gallery Galerie Mistral, as well as owner of a darkroom rental facility called Camera Lucida Image Center. Linda continues to teach and lecture. Most recently, Linda has embarked on an extraordinary international project called “The Garden at Night-a photographic journey.” This project includes three books, The Garden at Night published with Chronicle Books (2007), After Midnight published by Verve Editions (2008) and just released The English Garden at Night, Thames & Hudson (2009) which visits 10 of England’s most beautiful and well known gardens. Linda was artist in residence at the Eden Project in Cornwall, England last spring.She is presently working on a new project in the Gaspe.
